remembrance trails

Hello fellow Blogreaders!
I’ve finally found a moment to catch up with the blog. First, a photoshoot that Justyna and I made in the first days of October. Justyna Sancja Milenkiewicz was responsible for make up, posing and stylization. Characterisation and further stylization were made by Dominika Cianciara. Our battlefield were abandoned allotments. The state of those corresponded well with the state of our main charakter. Come with me on a memory trail journey…

Back to school with Juliette in Wonderland

Hello,fellow Blogreaders!
Today’s post will be even shorter and more substantial, than my posts usually are. Recently I’ve met a wonderful blogger, Julia (Juliette in Wonderland). We went for a hour long walk in Jeżyce, during which we made a few illustrations for her post about grunge stylization. Model, make up artist and stylist: Julia. You can see all the photos below.

Here are a few words about the stylization from its author:
Back to school – grunge style outfit. A grunge stylization! When I think about September, the first things that come to my mind are plaid shirts, gray and black. I’ve decided to combine all these elements into one. I wrapped a black and red plaid shirt around a gray fitted sweater. Instead of a jacket, I put a denim vest on, a vest that I found in… if you curious where she found it, make sure to check out her blog.

Workshops Diptychs

Hello fellow Blogreaders!
Last week, after a several years break, I went back to wonderful Ciechocinek to carry out one on one photography workshops for Sławekk (the author of the blog Fotościanka), whom I met because of the 365 Challenge. Sławek wanted to broaden his knowledge about lighting and postproduction of portraits. We took a few portraits of his super nice wife Ania, and then had a micro outdoor session near Wisła river with amazingly freckled Joanna. The side effect of my trip to Ciechocinek is a series of diptychs, which you can see below.

The photos were taken mainly in natural light + flash with a transparent umbrella (only for the first shot).

Model/stylization: Agnes from Garbledville
Corset: The Gothic Body
make-up: Emilia Fijałkowska-Kowalewska

Come with us on a journey into the dusty corners of Stara Rzeźnia:

Poison Garden vol I

Hello fellow Blogreaders!

Lately I went to explore green belts that are only one tram stop away from where I live. I was accompanied by the wonderful Justyna Sancja Milenkiewicz. The excuse for this was an idea that my model had for a great while now. The photos were supposed to picture sensitivity and gentleness of woman’s nature in a bit of a darker take. Justyna did both the make up and stylization. The dresses were provided by: Odio Tees and Jakub Pieczarkowski. Cape: Fashion Dealers. The technical aspects of the photos are, as usually, described at the end of the post.

The series is called ‘Poison Garden’ and as an addition to it, here is the text written by the model:
“Give me the keys to the secret garden. I’ve been watching it from my window for too long… Sometimes in my thoughts I float in the air, I cross the ivy-covered gates. I burst into flowers stalks that, painfully curved, forgot to blossom. I wander around the path of withered leaves. I soak my hands in the water, like white lilies do. The magic of the garden locks me up inside. It absorbs, fills, allures with aromas. I’m not looking for a way out/ My feet, wrapped with ivy, won’t make a step anymore. Melancholy, I’m so blissful. I’m so sad.
